Kuching City Tour
Begin from the starting point (hotel) to explore Kuching on a walking tour. Meet your guide and begin your journey along the scenic Sarawak River. Learn about the city’s origins and colonial history. Explore historical landmarks such as the Square Tower and Old Courthouse area, reflecting the Brooke-era administration. Walk through Kuching’s oldest street - Main Bazaar, filled with antique shops, handicrafts, and traditional trade culture, Carpenter Street and stop at Tua Pek Kong Temple, Kuching’s oldest temples, a spiritual landmark symbolizing the city’s multicultural harmony. After lunch, continue to the Borneo Culture Museum. The largest museum in Malaysia and one of the most important cultural institutions in Southeast Asia, located in the heart of Kuching. Officially opened as the new flagship museum of Sarawak, it showcases the rich cultural diversity, history, and heritage of Borneo’s many ethnic communities.
Semadang Kayak
Pick up from your hotel and depart for Semadang Kayak. Experience the kayak in the rainforest, incredible scenery and pristine water. The trip departs from a hotel in Kuching and transfers about 1 hour to Bengoh and ends at Semadang River. The Semadang River is great for people of skill levels to enjoy and scenic day out for beginners and adventurous people of all ages. Kayaking will take you about 2 hours or more and this includes a stopover at Aruang Piin Trusan Mini waterfall and Sibudak Riverbank for swimming. Enjoy local lunch and freshen-up at Semadang Village. Transfer back to your hotel after the tour.
Semenggoh Wildlife Centre & Sarawak Cultural Village
Pick-up from your hotel and depart for Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. Semenggoh Orang Utan Centre is a centre that serves as a rehabilitation centre for orphan orangutans. There they are given food daily and are able to roam freely. Other animals are also kept at the centre. There are feeding times scheduled every day at the feeding platform. However, always bear in mind that the main aim of the Centre is to return these animals back into their habitat. Do not be disappointed if you do not see them roaming the jungles or coming back to feed as this means they are able to forage on their own and do not need human assistance. Continue to Sarawak Cultural Village. Located about 45 mins drive from Kuching, the Sarawak Cultural Village is a wonderful micronation of the state’s rich and colorful cultural diversity. The village is built at the foot of the legendary Mt. Santubong in which seven ethnic houses are replicated. Enjoy the extravaganza of cultural performance at the village theater before returning to your hotel. Transfer back to your hotel
Bidayuh Longhouse & Authentic Cooking Lesson
