“Through advances in chemical engineering and separation processes, my research is dedicated to solving critical environmental challenges. By innovating in ultrafiltration membrane technology for water purification and harnessing visible light-activated photocatalysis for green hydrogen production, we are engineering sustainable solutions for a cleaner future.”
Dr. Khairul Anwar bin Mohamad Said is an academic researcher at the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. His key qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. His core expertise lies in chemical engineering and separation processes. Specifically, his field of specialization focuses heavily on photocatalysis, hydrogen production, and ultrafiltration membrane technology. This is evident through his leadership on multiple research grants, such as projects investigating visible light-activated photocatalytic hydrogen production using zinc oxide-graphene membranes, and developing various ultrafiltration membranes for water treatment.
