Bio

Pharmacist and PhD in Pharmacology with over 15 years of drug discovery experience across the pharmaceutical industry and public research institutions. He has a strong track record of leading functional teams across multiple disciplines, including small- and large-molecule high-throughput hit-to-lead discovery platforms. In addition to direct project leadership and management of external and local matrixed scientific teams, he has played an executive leadership role in shaping organisational research strategy and scientific direction, aligning platform capabilities, portfolio priorities and partnership opportunities to drive translational and commercial impact. He has successfully led therapeutic asset identification efforts to achieve clinical advancement, out-licensing and new start-up milestones. He also brings extensive expertise in target nomination, due diligence, and scientific writing for both small- and large-molecule programs across therapeutic areas including oncology, ophthalmology , autoimmune, fibrosis and infectious diseases.
