“Looking forward to collaborate”

Bio

Madhavan obtained his PhD at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany and completed postdoctoral research at Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands before moving to Singapore. Following research roles at IMRE (A*STAR) and as Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore (2013–2017), he pioneered polymersome (polymer/lipid nanoparticle) technology over 18+ years and translated it into a clinical-stage platform through ACM Biolabs, which he founded and leads as CEO. Under his leadership, ACM Biolabs and its clinical-stage oncology spinout Arcamyra Therapeutics have built a diversified pipeline spanning immuno-oncology, mRNA therapeutics, and vaccines. The platform’s first clinical asset, a polymersome-encapsulated TLR9 agonist (ACM-CpG), is in active clinical development for solid tumors across two programs: a peritoneal carcinomatosis trial (BrUOG 452, Brown University, IND 180703) and an investigator-initiated 2L+ NSCLC trial at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCT06587295), which has demonstrated a 67% disease control rate and approximately 7-month median PFS with zero dose-limiting toxicities. ACM is collaborating with CEPI to advance next-generation mRNA vaccines for global health and, through its Celmyra joint venture, developing targeted mRNA therapeutics as a stable and flexible alternative to Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs).
